Pocket Dungeon 0.3.1 - Final Update


Heya! The last version had quite a few bugs due to me not playtesting it properly. I do not want to leave this project riddled with bugs, so I've removed them while also adding a little bit of stuff as some sort of "apology", I suppose?

Here are the detailed patch notes:

  • Reworked equipment, they are now randomized, with ~10k different combinations; they need to be identified by either putting them on or going back to town
  • Going back to town on Floor 1 does no longer count as a loss
  • 4 new runes, all avaible via alternate unlocking methods
  • 4 new attacks, all available via alternate unlocking methods
  • 5 new items, like the Unequip Orb that you definitely will need with those random equipments
  • Made dark traders more logical => more options, better offers, more offers, no longer able to spawn twice per floor
  • More than 16 status effects can now be on the player at the same time
  • Changing moves now shows more info about them
  • Stat ups are now ~30% less effective
  • Ribbons earned from having research modifiers active now scale with the amount of floors done in the mission; they also give less on D and C missions now
  • Various bugs are gone: Escape Orbs now work as intended in research missions, some runes now work as intended, effectiveness is not shown through walls anymore, etc.
